The Millennium Challenge Corporation ranks first in the nation in the Aid Transparency Index
Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) is a government organization with the mission to reduce global poverty through the promotion of sustainable economic growth. Untold Content served as writers and editors for the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC)’s Monitoring & Evaluation office—charged with writing, editing, designing, and producing data visualizations for evaluation brief deliverables. As lead writers, copyeditors, and designers on this effort, Untold Content distilled 100+ page evaluation reports into high-impact 4-page briefs that capture complex supervisory and evaluation-based information for a wide range of audiences. Our work involved editing highly technical financial, economic, social, and infrastructural subject matter. Through this process, we collaborated with government leads to develop a standardized document template, design, and workflow that SMEs across the organization can use to create briefs for current and future evaluations.

OUR SOLUTION
We collaborated with Evaluation & Monitoring leads to develop a content and design template that would create consistency across all evaluation briefs. The Results of the Partnership
- Dozens of Evaluation Briefs were written, designed, and published on the MCC website.
- Worked with MCC translators to translate Evaluation Briefs for dissemination in program country.
- Designed layout and infographics for MCC’s Principles into Practice Technical and Vocational Education and Training paper, in which MCC discusses how it has put the principle of transparency into practice and what it has learned about implementing this fundamental tenet of aid effectiveness during its first 10 years of experience.
- Established streamlined process for creation of all future Evaluation Briefs.
