Untold Welcomes Content Director Kendall Leon—Expanding Pacific Coast Reach for Innovative Content Strategy Services
Kendall Leon has joined Untold Content, an innovation storytelling firm headquartered in Cincinnati, as Content Director—responsible for leading Untold’s content strategy and creation services for its innovative clients.
Welcoming Leon as Content Director positions Untold to continue to deliver exceptional content strategy services to innovative clients nationally and expand our thought leadership on innovation storytelling globally.
Leon leads from Untold’s Pacific Coast office, which will allow for more immersion with our existing clients in digital health and tech innovation. “Untold Content is growing its services and scope, serving the globe’s most innovative organizations with communications and thought leadership strategies,” says Leon. “I’m excited to support both regional and national clients in growing industries and tell their stories of discovery and innovation.”
Untold Content delivers content strategy and creation services to organizations focused on scientific, technical, medical and social innovation. She remarked,

Leon also emphasized the interdisciplinary impacts of Untold’s work. “I love the way we tackle diverse subject matter across unique industries—which positions us to learn something new every day and apply those learnings across sectors” reflected Leon. “It leads to incredible creativity among our project teams, and generates value for our clients.”
Prior to joining Untold Content, Leon worked for over a decade as an associate professor of Rhetoric and Composition at three different universities, during which she directed programs in technical and professional writing and composition with an extensive research background in program design, qualitative research, assessment, community engaged scholarship, and technical writing. In addition, she brings several years experience as a subject matter expert developing and assessing writing for public sector agencies.
Leon received her PhD in Rhetoric and Writing, with an emphasis in Communities, Technology and Culture from Michigan State University. For the last two years, Leon balanced her professor position with consulting at Untold, providing key professional writing guidance to public sector clients like the Millenium Challenge Corporation (MCC). Her content support helped MCC win a national transparency award thanks to evaluation briefs crafted by the Untold team for Congress and other key decision-makers on international development projects.
Leon will lead Untold’s content strategy and content creation services for our clients—working directly with innovative organizations to design content solutions and lead teams of writers, designers, and researchers to deliver high-impact content deliverables and campaigns. She’ll be responsible for designing and executing new service offerings in support of our clients’ missions to tell clear, impacting innovation narratives for their customers and stakeholders. Leon will also contribute to Untold’s thought leadership strategy, supporting research and publications on the impact of effective storytelling in innovation.
